Frequently Asked Questions

How long will it take?

Once we have all of the necessary information to process the request, typical turnaround is 2 weeks. There are ways to get it sooner, but rush fees will apply based on what is needed and when it is needed.

The price?

Our pricing guide acts as a base line until your project is reviewed and priced individually. Every project is different from size to the level of expected detail and we want to make sure we are serving each client in the best way possible.

The 3D artists typical process includes:

  • Understanding the client's plans and vision

  • Creating a model using 3D software

  • Setting up model textures for the most realistic portrayal

  • Setting up lighting and effects

  • Setting up the camera

  • Exporting

  • Post-processing in Photoshop

Price Breaks

Our pricing guide is based on one-off projects - for example, a client who is only interested in the exterior shot of a residential exterior. As you submit your project, we will be able to review it for price breaks based on the overall size, scope and output requests.

What increases my project cost?

Level of detail needed and customization requests.
Some clients prefer more detailed set dressing or are focused on a custom light fixture or piece of furniture that is also very detailed. These details and customizations take more time and will see an increase in costs. We typically work from a library of textures and objects that inform the majority of the scene. Most of the time, we can make slight edits to those components to bring the space to life without incurring any extra labor charges.

Can my contractor or architect send you plans?

We are able and willing to correspond and work with anyone involved in your project. Plans of some sort are typically required to start the project. We have worked from pencil sketches on a napkin with dimensions thrown on them, as well as no plans at all when the client is more interested in their vision than accurate portrayal of the space. All that being said, for accurate representation of a built space, plans of some sort will be needed prior to the start of the project. Digital plans in a .dwg format are the most ideal scenario.
